How we handle the information you share with us when you contact YOUMEGA for an activewear quote, sample, or any other inquiry.

1. Who we are

This website (iyoumega.com) is operated by Xiamen Mega Garment Co., Ltd. (厦门迈弘格服饰有限公司), a private label and OEM/ODM activewear manufacturer based at No.117 Sunban South Road, Jimei North Industrial Zone, Xiamen, Fujian Province, China. Throughout this policy "YOUMEGA", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Xiamen Mega Garment Co., Ltd.

We are the data controller responsible for any personal information you submit through this website.

2. What information we collect

We only collect information that buyers voluntarily provide when contacting us through inquiry forms, the floating quote drawer, email, or WhatsApp. This typically includes:

• Your name and the brand or company you represent
• Your email address
• Your country, city, or general location
• Your WhatsApp number or phone number (if you choose to share it)
• The product category, quantity range, and any project details you tell us about
• Logo files, tech packs, reference images or other attachments you upload

We also collect a small amount of automatic technical information through Google Analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-bot protection): your approximate location based on IP, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at the website. This data is aggregated and not used to identify individual visitors.

3. Why we collect it

We use the information you share for one purpose only: to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a customer, to fulfill your order. Specifically:

• To prepare and send you a quotation, sample, or product information
• To follow up on your project and answer questions during sample development and bulk production
• To process orders, prepare shipping documents, and handle customs clearance under our export license
• To improve our website and understand which pages help buyers make better decisions

4. What we do NOT do

We take this seriously because we value the trust of the brands we work with:

• We never sell, rent, or share your contact information with any third party for marketing purposes.
• We never add you to mailing lists, newsletters, or promotional campaigns without your explicit consent.
• We never share your tech packs, logo files, designs, or product specifications with anyone outside of YOUMEGA and the production team directly responsible for producing your order. All design files are treated as confidential under our standard NDA.
• We never use your inquiry data for AI training, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your specific project.

5. Who has access to your data

Within YOUMEGA, only the sales person handling your inquiry and the operations team responsible for your sample or order can access your contact information and project files. Externally, we may share necessary information with:

• The production facility producing your specific order (limited to what is needed for production)
• Logistics providers (DHL, FedEx, freight forwarders) for shipping documentation
• Banking and payment processors (T/T, L/C, PayPal) for receiving payment
• Customs authorities in China and your destination country, where required by law

We use third-party services to operate this website: Google Analytics 4 (traffic measurement), Cloudflare (CDN, security, anti-bot protection via Turnstile), and Formspree or a similar form backend (to deliver your inquiry to our inbox). Each of these has its own privacy policy. None of them have access to your project files unless you upload attachments through the form.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep inquiry information for as long as is reasonably necessary to maintain a working relationship with you. For active and recurring buyers, we keep records for the duration of our relationship plus 7 years (the standard retention period required by Chinese export and tax regulations). For one-time inquiries that do not lead to a project, we typically delete or anonymize the information within 24 months.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see Section 8 below.

7. International data transfers

Because we are based in China and most of our buyers are in Europe, North America, Latin America and Oceania, your information may be transferred and stored on servers in jurisdictions different from your own. We rely on standard commercial safeguards and confidentiality practices to protect your data wherever it is stored.

8. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar)

If you are based in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive data protection laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Right to correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Right to deletion — ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention obligations)
